Where in the World is Bali

We are almost ready to depart, thus this is our last post from America.

Our next post will be around 10 or 11 Sept.

As we get ready to travel to Bali people often ask, where is Bali?

Bali is exactly halfway around the world from Florida and is located between the Philippines and Australia. When is it 8 am in Sarasota, Florida, it is 8 pm in Bali.

The next question asked is, how long does it take to get there?

We leave Tampa and in a little over one hour we are in Atlanta.  Then we get on the big double decker dream liner of Korean Air and fly non-stop for thirteen hours to Soul, South Korea. There we stretch our legs for two hours and board another Korean Air flight and fly south for seven hours to the island of Bali.

Bali is located in the center of the archipelago of the thousands of islands of Indonesia. The population of Indonesia is over 255 million people and is the worlds fourth— most populous country and the most - populous Muslim-majority country.

Arriving on the island of Bali is like entering the original Garden of Eden on earth. It is the home of 4 million people who live each day in their hearts in the state of peace, love and services. Always in balance with the energy of nature and life free of all judgements.  It is often call the island of calm surrounded by the sea of chaos. The Island is approx. 50 miles north to south and app. 100 miles east to west.

Our home is located in a small village NW of Ubud, which is the cultural center of the Island.
