We have complete our thirty days in Bali with our final ceremony for safe journey.
Tonight with the setting of the sun, we get on the big silver bird, we call our time machine, and will wake up in Florida our home.
Fear not, we will keep the Bali Blog open for we have been receiving 500 to 600 hits per day. This makes us feel excited that others in the world are interested in finding, exploring and walking The Path of Peace.
Once we are home and have access to our big comuter we will continue to share stories of the magic of Bali in hope that the reader will be able to take the model set forth in the stories and apply it to their life.
The one thing we have learned is you do not have to come to Bali to find peace. For the energy of peace is simply the energy of creation of which all things are manifested. This energy is around us everyday, all day. All one has to do is to let go their fears and become One with the energy of creation — nature and they will be at peace.
So please keep us on your list of sites you check regularly. About Sunday 11 Oct we should be posting again.
You can also Follow us on Twitter @ThePathofPeace
Please be patient with us for this is a new adventure of sharing through blogs, twitter and face book and soon a new web page, for up to this time all sharing has been face to face.
Now it is off to the time machine to take us to our next magical adventure.
When we arrive to where we are going we will check back in with more wisdoms from our true-life adventures.
In closing we remember the message from the stone age temple site:
Don't say good-by say so long.

the ancient mysteries of life.

Buddhist Temple — Bali
Bali is called the Way Shower for Peace.
The Balinese belief is that their outer world is a reflection of their inner world. To bring peace to their outer world they simply bring peace to their inner world. As a result, after the two Bali bombing they focused on bringing more love into their hearts instead of doing battle with the bombers.
The Balinese went each night to their temples to increase the peace in their hearts. After the second bombing and more prayers for inner peace, balance was returned to the hearts of the people. The island of Bali became an island of calm surrounded by a sea of chaos.
This peace is evident in Bali for the Balinese, Muslims, Christians and the Chinese are all living in peace with each other, honoring the others ways of life and religions.
This is evident when one visits the buddhist temple on the North shore of Bali.
There are many water gardens in the Temple. This water lilly is a symbol of the open heart.

Surrendering to Love
Each year we visit the temple of Pura Ulun Danu, Tamblingan. Our feeling is that the site dates back to the stone age as a sacred site. To reach the temple we have to cross the lake by canoes and then climb a long steep set of stairs. As we reached the center of the lake we felt the power of the energy of the site welcoming us.
Reaching the shore on the far side of the lake we stepped out of our canoe and stood at the steps that would lead up to the ancient sacred site. As we began our journey up the steps I noticed that the energy had increased, as it has each year. It was clear that it was going to be a difficult climb for me for as I went up each step it felt as if the energy was pushing me back.
Each step up began and ended with a prayer to get permission and then to physically open the vale and step though. As I neared the top I had to sit and rest. As I rested I thought, I can't make it. I need to go back down.
Instantly another voice arrived that said, If you have enough energy to go backdown, you have enough energy to continue the climb. I stood and asked permission to continue and the path opened. Standing tall I climbed the remaining steps and entered the temple. The resistant was gone.
In the temple the energy had doubled in power since last year. Yet it was still the power of the still point — the point where nothing appears to be happening yet total creation is present.
Being in the power was like being home with God. The awareness was that there was nothing to do except to absorb, enjoy and become one with the energy of God’s love.
With the completion of our prayers I stood in front of the alter and said my good-bye. For having just celebrated my 80th birthday I felt this might be our last trip to Bali. Instantly that voice within me boomed forth.
Do not say good-bye. Say so long. I AM everywhere.
As I stood at the top of the steps Pam looked at me and said, You look different. Without thinking my reply was, I am. I’ve been loved.
Returning across the lake to our transport a new awareness arrived, The energy I had felt as we crossed the lake to the tenmple as well as I climbed the stairs to me felt overwhelming. Now I realized that in fact it was simply God’s love welcoming me.
A deep inner laugh let me know that not only have I been struggling and resisting God’s love for years but also the love from others because it was not what I believe love is.
Once again I marveled at the simplicity of life when I let go my judgements and simply open to receive and become one with whatever is happening to me.

I AM
As we were paddling our canoe back across the lake from the ancient stone age temple to the temple on the opposite shore where we parked our car this cloud appeared above us.
The message in my heart was,
I Am — Everywhere.
When you need help simply look up and ask.
Then move forward in love doing what needs to be done . . . with love.
Always know that I am always there for you.
And things will return to balance and Oneness of Life.

Kupu Kupu Butterflies
Taking some time to enjoy the uniqueness of nature at the Bali Butterfly Park. These butterflies emerged from their cocoon this morning. Maybe that is why they were so cooperative to be place upon me. The park is filled with plants to support the different phases of their life. A two week like span is all these butterflies have.
This is the famous Kupa Kupa. It is the largest butterfly in Bali. Look at that wing span. Awesome.
